Medical Clinic Project
For our next project, we have chosen to come alongside the Pangia Ministry Team in the remote bush of Papua New Guinea, to help them put the finishing touches on their medical clinic.
We have seen the great work this team has done for the people of Pangia and the surrounding areas. One aspect of their work, the medical clinic, has been a great help to the people. Limited access to simple medical care means that small injuries or problems can often become life threatening, just due to the lack of basic medical aid. The Pangia Ministry Team does not charge for the medical assistance they give. Sometimes it means rendering simple first aid and then transporting people over rough terrain to an area hospital, which in itself is lifesaving care.
Our goal is two-fold: to help provide the remaining medical equipment that the team has identified as their most needed items, and to send a small team of workers to do the finish work on the building that houses the clinic.
